Azar Vaghefi,
is an enthusiastic artist who loved
art since she was a child. As a
teenager she won the national art
competition in her country, Iran.
She is inspired by nature and it's
beauties and she uses Oil paint,
Acrylic and Mixed media techniques
to express her feelings in her work.
She has had several art exhibitions
in Istanbul Turkey where she
completed her masters and PhD
degrees in art. She moved to the
USA with her family in 2005 and
since then she had the following art
exhibitions:
Saratoga library, CA(2006),
San Leandro Museum, CA (2007),
Bank of Hays art gallery(2008)
Hays public library(2009)
Deines center(2009) Russel
Kansas.
Her art work is currently displayed in
the ART PEOPLE Gallery in San
Francisco, CA and she is a member
of the Art People artist's community.
She is also a faculty member at
FHSU.
