Yoram Lilach – Fine artist and a "Moshavnik" (farmer) – exhibits his screen print works and
drawings in Old Jaffa's alleys. The exhibition takes place in "Hasimtah" theater hall: Two of
the works are hang near its entrance and give a little taste from the inside content:

The narrow hall with its high ceiling, a typical design for this area looks as a powerful
contrast to his motherland's landscapes:
His repertory of experiences as a farmer- in the henhouse, vineyard or from the cypress
trees surrounded the local cemetery,
His repertory of experiences as an artist who was influenced from well known painters
such as Picasso and Rauschenberg, as well as influencing other artist's route when acting
as the head of the Israeli Painters Association and a teacher for screen printing,
and finally, his sorrow for the personal losses – family members, Zionist ideals and the "old
lovely Israel" of Izrael Valley.

The main issues of the his screen printing works are the cypress trees, birds, fields,
agricultural buildings – a colorful actors of his family's life environment- working, property
guarding and community life.
The long line of these works gives an impressive perspective on the artist as part of the
Israeli deep routed community.

In a separate area – using softer language and big formats- the drawings refer to traditional
themes such as landscapes, portraits or models. Most of the works have been created at
earlier stage, before focusing in print screen as the main technique of his a art work.

The exhibition gives a wide reference to "The Situation" (an Israeli popular saying):
personal, environmental and national. This is a pure Israeli art exhibition using
announcements, reflecting sorrows and full of love to the country.
